What is Stripchat?
Wikipedia describes Stripchat as a Cyprus-based adult website and social network. It offers free live webcam performances, broadcast as traditional, virtual reality (VR) and mobile streams. Wikipedia gives its launch date as 3 May 2016. Reuters reports that it is a subsidiary of Technius, a company based in Cyprus.
How paid features work
Stripchat runs on tokens. Viewers buy token packages and spend them on tips for performers, private shows and other paid content. We do not list package prices here; you can find the current prices on Stripchat's own site.
VR shows and Lovense integration
According to Wikipedia, Stripchat started VR cam shows in 2019. They need no separate app: they play in the headset's own web browser through WebXR at vr.stripchat.com, for example in Meta Quest Browser or in Safari on Apple Vision Pro.
Lovense's official page for cam models lists Stripchat under "Integrated Cam Sites", which means tip-activated Lovense toys work on Stripchat streams. The same list also includes Chaturbate, BongaCams and LiveJasmin, so Lovense support on its own does not set these sites apart.

The other options in brief
- Chaturbate: launched on 26 February 2011, according to Wikipedia. Registration is optional and streams can be watched for free, except private shows. Viewers buy tokens to tip, and performers can connect remote-controlled toys that react to tips.
- BongaCams: founded in 2012, according to the official BongaModels site. The public chat room is free. Group, private, full-private and spy (watch-only) shows are paid in Tokens per minute, at a price each performer sets within limits set by the platform. Lovense is supported too.
- LiveJasmin: founded in Hungary in 2001. Its official model wiki says Free Chat is open to everyone, including unregistered guests, but no nudity is allowed there. Private shows are charged per minute in credits, and VIP show entry and monthly Fan Club subscriptions are paid in credits as well. Lovense and Kiiroo toys are supported.
Where CamVela fits
CamVela is not a cam site with performers of its own. It is a free directory of live cam streams for adults (18+): streams come from third-party providers, and CamVela lists their public live streams in one place. Watching public streams is free and needs no account, and there is nothing to buy on CamVela itself. An 18+ confirmation is shown before any content.
- The interface comes in 8 languages: Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Russian.
- You can join the chat without an account, using a nickname of 2 to 16 characters.
- Your favorites and watch history are stored only in your own browser.
- Live previews of the cards on screen refresh about every 30 seconds, and streams that ended in the last 24 hours have their own list.
Finding similar streams on CamVela
Streams marked as VR are in the VR category, and streams using a Lovense toy are in the Lovense category. There are also Solo, Couples, Girl-Girl, Trans, HD and New categories. You can narrow results by tags, country, spoken language and age range, and change the sort order. For everything that is live right now, go back to the home page.
